Default soo what do you guys think..?

Hey guys ive got a silver 2001 VX Lumina commodore (with spoiler) and im debating whether or not i should get a clubsport bodykit or an Spac bodykit?
    what do you guys think?

is the clubsport bodykit overdoing it a bit considering its only a lumina?

I went down this road with mine...

My thought ... wouldn't you rather it look like something more belivable
    Don't know many v6 clubsports...

I would go for s package.. as I said I did the same with my lumina and rreally happy with it.

An S-Pac bodykit wouldn't be too bad but I personally think updressing a car is a bit lame. Best thing for a lumina would be the HBD body kit that they were optioned with. S-Pac wouldn't be too bad as you could get them in a 6 but you might look like a tool if you have a clubby kit on a V6

haha alright guys i thought id look like a bit of a tryhard with a clubby kit thanks for clearing that up.
im looking at getting an s-pac or VX kit from SSV.com.au but before i do does anyone know anything better, i tried a few wreckers today they only have broken parts of the kit and Holden spare parts are charging 1400+ unprimed and unpainted

I don't see what the big deal is over putting a clubby kit on a v6. It doesn't mean your a try hard, maybe it's just the style you like with the car you have. I didn't put a clubby kit on mine cause I wanted it to look like a hsv or that I was trying to fool people that I had a v8 I did it cause it was the kit I liked and I wasn't upgrading to a v8 just so I could put that kit on it. I'm not after a HSV as I only use my car to get me to work and back and nor was I interested in owning a v8 just for a work car either but I didn't like the standard look of my vt. The way I see it you become a try hard when you start putting HSV badges on commodores (v6 or 8) when they're not a hsv.

yeah you have a good point there mate, and the clubsport does look ALOT better than the SSkit.
By the way the SSkit (with fog lights) on Car Parts - Body Kits - Spoilers - Rear Wings ...and more Car Parts | Sydney Special Vehicles || Sydney Special Vehicles is 1518 and 140 to post it. plus its not primed and painted
the only problem is i don't need spoiler because i've already got it on my car and you have to order the whole package.

Holden spare parts are charging around 1400 for the same kit (no foglights) and unprimed and unpainted
how much would it cost if i bought it from the wreckers?

does anyone know a good place to buy bodykits from in melbourne?
    thanks!

nicely said JMP! i see vx commodores with hsv kits but no boot garnish... so i automatically know its not a hsv..

and when i see those hsv kitted base models or s,ss i just think it looks nice

oh by the way what do you guys reckon for the front lip of my vx, either

this vt ss lowered lip: GENUINE HSV / HBD VX LVL2 FRONT BAR EXTENSION LIP NEW (eBay item 260738930972 end time 19-Mar-11 12:08:55 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

-which would make my car look like the attached images in my 2nd post on this thread

or this: Genuine GM Holden VT SS Front Bar Lower Spoiler - GMH * (eBay item 230587156815 end time 27-Feb-11 20:18:01 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

i have the same skirts and rear bear as this member (My VX LS1)

if anyone knows where to get the same front bar as the member i linked above please let me know, i'm only debating on these two because i cant find it anywhere otherwise it'd be an easy decision

Not a big fan of the hbd front, it looks like it's hit something and broken off a piece. I don't mind the SS lip but that's my opinion and it's your car so do what you think looks good. Just hope people don't think your trying to make your car look like a hbd you might get called a tryhard lol.

subtle mods nearly always look better in my opinion, s pac kit with no boot spoiler is what id use.

if you like the look use it but dont put badges on that dont belong. its like wankers who put chev badges on thier holden. it just screams loser.
ive just gone sv6 kit on the vz and an ss wing on the berlina
