    Default pod or panel

hey all i got a vt commodore with a sports exhaust and a k&n pod filter..
its just floating in the engine bay absorbing engine air i was looking at buying the mace cai kit but im paying 270 dollers and then making my k&n pod usless.
all i really want to do is seal my k & n pod in but i dont have the tools to make it myself.

does anyone know if there are kits available?
if not im thinking ill put my stocko intake kit on with a k & n panel filter but once again the panel will cost me about 100 $ so id rather just give my current pod some cold air...

    thanks guys

buying the mace cai wouldn't make your k&n pod useless. Just use the k&n pod instead of the one provided. I believe mace use the 75mm SAAS filters which I believe are the same size as the k&n pods.? Probably could get it at a reduced price if you asked nicely enough lol

box in the pod youve got and give it a snorkle and there is cold air.
otherwise a panel filter isnt such a bad idea

The air temp will be bugger all different with the panel or pod setup. Flow is where its at though

I like panel filters over pods. Especially if you're still running a MAF. if you're not it makes bugger all difference what filter you use.

you can pick up lukey panel filters, which i personally have found better then k&n and they arnt as expensive, thats what i would do, i have had both pod and panel and found the lukey inside the stock intake worked best, give it a go
