What to do to my VT.

Hi Everyone.

Recently was given my dads VT and im planning on making it a project. The car has heavy oxidization and the top layer has become cloudy, im about to begin sanding it down and respraying it with Acrylic hopefully keeping it metallic green. With all that work soon to come, im kinda curious as i dont know much about the internals of a car what i can do with it.

In a nut shell, i want it to be louder, have more acceleration and be more fuel efficient.

My understanding is i need to put in headers and an exhaust but as to the specifications of this and probably alot of other things i have no idea about.

Any advice would be great.

extractors + 2.5inch catback exhaust, roller rockers, CAI, mecal chip would be a nice start i guess

prices (rough figures) and order of preference for getting them?

Extractors = $330 (+extra for fitting)
2.5" cat back = $180 (fit yourself in about a hour on the ground, faster if you have access to a hoist)
High Ratio Rockers = $450? (about an hour to fit yourself)
CAI = $100-300
Memcal = $70-200

im only on my p's and i prefer supercharger
