VU/VX diff

does the lsd on the vu have a different ratio to the normal non lsd diff on a vx sedan

well my mate has a VU with lsd and im pretty sure it has diffrent gears to mine. so he was telling me any way lol

Yea I was kinda racing my friend in his vx both our cars are manual we ended up getting around the 160 mark but in my mirror it looked like he had plenty up his sleeve like he was able to edge closer real easy if you get me

•Supercharged V6 Ratio: 3.08:1
•V8 Automatic Ratio: 3.08:1
•V8 Manual Ratio: 3.46:1

HSV

•Supercharged V6 Ratio: 3.46:1
•V8 Automatic Ratio: 3.46:1, 3.73:1
•V8 Manual Ratio: 3.73:1, 3.91:1

Think they just did that so they could claim it was faster not just had a body kit and different badges. The XU6 also has little extractors on it as well

Thats interesting i have a vx ss manual, an was going to get 3.46 gears for it because i was told it had 3.08 in it, wont bother now.
