My VT Commy

G'day, i picked up a VT commy for 1750 off ebay, when i got it home the front end was smashed up (Hidden buy the bumper bar) so i got it all running and all, but when i took it for a run on the quarter mile, it runs a 10.2, now, all i can fathem from it is that it has headers, 2.5 inch exhaust, and its been chipped by the brock shop in queensland, anyone know what to make of this?? is it normal?

You would have to have a pretty worked vt to run a 10.2.
V6 or V8?

It's a v6..I know it's hard to believe,I don't know much about it or anything but I think possible it was an error,so in going to go get it done again it's the loudest commodore I've heard around not just exhaust but engine growl as I said I had to spend atleast 5000 of body damage to get it registered that's why I come here just thought I'd share my very unbeleivable story,what would a standard commy run on the quater mile

sure its a v6 and not a straight 6, soemone has probably put a fully worked 2J with a massive single turbo on it LOL

TO EVERYONE :|! ( The first place i did the quater mile at was at an abandon old run way where they use to have drag races in this area so its legit 1/4 mile) But ive taken it back today and must of been some miss communication or something, it doesnt run 10.2, when i re-ran it first was 14.743 and next was 14.659, i hope this comes at a bit more understanding >_> hooray for being misinformed, ill get some pics asap, and i realised that apparently its suppose to have 3? mufflers or something on it, this exhaust system has only 2 >_>? anyone know what to make of that?

they come standard with 2...

its had a 2.5 with extractors fitted on it, apparently its ment to have more then the 2 its got on it, or something like that, but when i got it registred i was told i might need to put something on it cuz apparently is "illegal" atm..

they have a middle muffler then a rear one.

cops will pin you if you dont have at least 2... so dunno why its illegal

Hmm idk :S maybe it does only have 1 on it, i havent checked it out, just going by what nrma guy said about it being illegal >_> ?? i have no idea :| Btw nice commy u got there.
