Exhaust system

Hi im abit of a noob when it comes to engines so bare with me but I have a 2.5" exhaust system on my vt berlina and am concidering getting a high flo cat and some pacemaker extractors now it's a fair bit of money to fork out but will these mods make much of a difference to the sound. And do they give much horsepower I mean much noticeable horsepower? Lol thanks

The note of your exhaust will change slightly.
Power gains will be small.
But knowing you've added an exhaust will make you think your car is going quicker.
