Does any1 know bout diff ratios in vt 5.7l 6spd!!!

want to know bout diferant diff ratio and revs. ive run outa people to ask and i cant find anything on the net

What exactly do you want to know etc. What ratio are you looking at.

the factory 6spd diff ratio is 3.46:1. and @ 100km/h you should be pulling about 2100rpm in 5th or 1450rpm in 6th. (based on a 235/45/17" tyre profile)

with 3.7's @ 100km/h, 5th = 2250rpm, 6th = 1550rpm ( i think it's the standard clubsport ratio)

with 3.9's @ 100km/h, 5th = 2400rpm, 6th = 1600rpm (i think this is the standard GTS ratio)

with 4.11's @ 100km/h, 5th = 2500rpm, 6th = 1700rpm.

i think with the factory T56 trans the ideal ratio's are either 3.9's or 4.11's

all these speeds are approximate allowing for variations in wheel diameters and calibrations of speedo's and tacho's etc

ok, just a quick one then, what would be the perfect diff to swap out the standard 3.46 to the gts diff? would that be a good ratio?
