Hey guys ive got a 2001 VX lumina. i recently bought a HBD rear and side skirts with an VT SS lower front lip which im sanding down at the moment so i can get them painted.
i'm happy that the outside of my car is going to look great but the interior is very plain and boring, the only thing ive done is buy 4 chrome door handles.
i plan to get the HSV driver's kit to replace the cup holder but i read somewhere that you had to cut the bottom of your original cup holder out to fit? so on second thoughts
the big question is here what else should i do to the interior?
the painter i know is doing the kit for free (as long as i pay for the paint) and he said he'll paint the dash fasia too. i'm just stuck on what colour to paint it, i had in mind matte black to keep it looking clean but i saw that Series II VX/VTs had a black matte-ish looking fasia, so now i'm thinking maybe piano black
OPINIONS PLEASE!
PS: maybe a new shift/selector plate?
get some calais bits for around the shifter, the shifter itself and h/brake. get some coloured speedo dials off ebay... monaro style. and maybe an led dash conversion?!?!?!

i painted my dash facia heater control auto surround and elec window facia in phantom metallic to match my car without the clear gloss
blends in really well with the car
ill post some pics as soon as i get my license (thats right still a learner :P) its just a 2001 silver VX lumina (with spoiler)with VE SS 18" rims and and FE2 VE SS suspension and a sunroof. thats how i bought it too the only thing i've bought is the bodykit and chome door handles
i'm thinking of painting the dash fasia piano black and get a red style dial to copy the interior of a monaro and either a pop-up cup holder or a HSV kit.
i no its a bit much considering i dont even have my license yet but ill most likely just get the pop-up cup holder and paint the fasia black
what colour is your car? red or blue speedo dials look awesome but the red has grey inserts and if you dont have the grey ss interior it would look odd so maybe go blue triangle style???

i won't even use the shit inside i just wanna replace the look of the ugly cup holder
i want the pop-up cup holder they have in some calais' but i heard you need to cut the bottom of your old cup holder out?
