Default whining noise from Ls1, please help

Hi guys, my latest problem from my new car (vt clubby ) is a whining noise that can be herd after around 700-800rpm, as I accelerate the whine can't be herd, as I let go of the throttle the whine begins until I come to a stop where revs go to when sitting in drive, I thought it could be a belt noise, I remember hearing it slightly for small amounts of time a week ago and since yesterday it hasn't stop, any advice would be appreciated thanks guys

could it be the diff ?? im pretty sure i can hear it in the engine bay though, but when i did do a quick take off, with traction off, it looked asif i didnt have a lsd there was one tyre line and the other way to faded to see, could this mean my diff is stuffed ? as i read up on other diff noise issues, but they speak of a clunk and whining mine doesnt clunk. could a service fix this up ?

Hey mate before you start spending money you might not have first spray all pulllys with some wd40 or silicone spray that way you can isolate the problem if the noise is still ther travel at a speed were you can here the noise then put it in nutral if the noise stops its your diff

i have solved the problem ! i took off the nice and clean engine cover, to find 11 years of dust on the top of the engine! found a broken hose coming out of the manifold right before the throttle which was causing the fart like noise similar to a ballon when extending the lip which the hose was doing when de-accelerating, pulled a hose of my vr and chucked it on and all good now
