painting side mirros

im changing the mirrors on my vx but cant find ones the same colour so i want to get a set and paint them any advice on what i need to do they are black ones do i still need to sand them do i need to prime them any advice would be great thanks ?

A light sand and the use of a primer suitable for plastic should be all you need to prepare them for painting.
