seat belt pre tensioners

hey all

ive bought leather seats to put in my vu that have deployed seat belt pre tensioners and im

just wondering if i can buy new ones to replace. Would this allow me to have the airbag system reset

with no further errors?

Any help would be great thanks

vu? u mean a vy? probably need to ask in the vy thread. not sure if its the same as vt's and vx's.

in the case of vt's if you change the pretensioner before putting the seat in it should be ok. if theres still an srs light u would need to get it reset with the scan tool. if the light was already stuck on prior to the seats going in, you might need other stuff, like the airbag module replaced
