DIY Tinting
just wondering if anyone has tried it, and was it hard and did it last?, i have used tint before, i used to build fish tanks and some people liked the have them tinted, i did that with no worrys, but was wondering if it is too difficult on a vt and leave it to pros or it can be done?
Well it can be done as long as your good at doing curves,and rememder you cant put the windows down for 24-48hrs
Just get a pro to do it man. I got mine done in 5% strip and tint for $350 with lifetime warranty.
It's not as easy as professionals make it look. The hardest thing is heat shrinking the tint to follow the curves of the windows, highly recommend paying someone to do it.
yeah i did my ss,i wouldnt do it again,had to end up getting the rear window done by a proper tinter
I would advise you to use a professional. You see a lot of cars on the road that have had their windows tinted by DIYs and they look terrible - especially the rear windows.
