    Thumbs up Convo Pro's

gday all, I,m considering putting Convo pros on my VT, but my main concern is wondering what it would look like and I guess its a hudge cost to buy them only to find out it doesnt look right, so I,m hoping some one has pics of a vt with convo or weld wheels so I can get an idea.. thanks all

Just a heads up their not safe for the street. Soft sidewalls prone to bending if you hit a pot hole etc.

    ?????

convo pro's are rims, not tyres.

and yeah OP, personally i think they would look a bit stupid, but each to their own. convos look SEX on older cars, personally dont like them on new cars.

google only has that pic ^^^

know one plans on hitting gutters, what size do you want? 15x5" front and probly a maxium off 15x9.5" rear (need tubs to go bigger) you'll need 48p offset too

Did you all not see the etc. Maybe I should replace it with something more obvious that we all know about like pot holes. Use your imagination. I meant the lips but at the time it didn't sound right.

They're as safe as any other aftermarket wheel out there...

I actually thought about getting a set for the VY.

    haha thats my ute photoshopped.

wraith, are you stupid? sidewall is tyre, not rim. more sidewall gives more rim protection, so you dont have to run as high pressure and gives a better ride.

you better go tell holden that they were so stupid selling cars with 15 inch rims on them, its so dangerous!

You main concern should be that they are not made in a PCD to suit commodore...............

WTF, not safe? The convoluted rim(hence the name "convo pro") adds strength to the rim. they are one of the strongest rims on planet.I run them on my tudor which puts out over 1200hp at the wheels! Soft in the rim-I don't think so tiger.

Eh something I remember reading a while back could be wrong and if I am then so be it. I did re edit my post as at the time of my original post the correct wording eluded me.
