centre bearing vx ss

Hey can a centre bearing be changed on vx ss people are saying yes and some are saying know my tail shaft slides but in to gear box about 4mm so while drivig its moving back and fourth i can feel it and want to get this sorted i rang holden's lookig for brand new tail shaft and there are only two in aust find that hard to believe but yeah they want 1100 for it that's just supply any help would be great as story if any has done this before thanks guys

So no one on here has replaced a centre bearing on a vx ss just need to know if it can be done
