    im trying to see between me and a friend who is right my mate says the damage on this vt looks about 50 km/h i say around 90km/h
    What do you guys think

    Hmmm, well it looks like it hit a pole, so 50km/h could do this, doesn't take much when you go against a thinner but hard object.

    I'm going with the pole theory as well, in which case 50k could do that sort of damage I think.

    65k there about... Mate t boned a bmw last week at 65k looks almost the same...

    If its was 90kms there be nothing left, cars today crumple alot more than the older models...

    most of the fronts plastic anyways, so 50km's would easily do it, depends how much the engine bay is mashed up.. if it was at like 90km's or something i would say the motor would be all glued to the firewall lol

    Yeah, having seen the crash tests done on VT Commodores, I'm guessing solid object @ at least 60kmp/h. Though if it was head on with another vehicle they would both be at 30kmph... ish.

    If a VT hits a wall @ 90kmp/h the A and B pillars suffer warping as do the doors, should it hit another car travelling at 90, a combined force of 180, the damage would be extensive, I doubt anyone would walk away from it (they'd have to be damn lucky).

    Sorry mate, I think your friend was closer to the number.

    Yep Guessing around 50-60kms also. I have seen a VX thats hit a pole at 95kms and lets just say they are lucky to be ok.
