Larger brake rotors on a VX

I need to replace to brake pads so while I'm at it the rotors will be changed but how does the part that holds the pads match up with the original mounting holes when a larger rotor is used, is there some kind of adaptor plate required.

Update 10.04.11 - I now see that a kit is required for the installation of larger brakes so we'll go with the standard rotors but use the slotted ones.
