Yeah I'm not sure about the offset either, I might head down to the local wheel shop and see if they can tell me.

BMW offsets.

3 series: ET around 35-45
5 and 7 series: ET aroud 15-25

X3, X5, Z3, Z4 all around 3 series
New 5 and 7 series (F10/F11 / F01/F02) around 3 series

This goes to all 5 stud (5x120) rims.
4 stud rims are different and are no good to Holdens anyway :)

Vt with VU/VZ bits
I was led to believe that the stud pattern is the same and they fit fine BUT they don't sit on the hub correctly and can cause damage in the long term. Would like to have a definitive answer also!
