VT commodore starts but wont rev past 2k

have a v6 vt on factory gas. starts on petrol but will not rev past about 1400 and very hard to start on gas but when it starts will only idle any ideas?

Check your Air sensor also I had the same problem I took it to the Holden for diagnostic they found out my Gas mixer diaphragm was not properly seated.

So check these I think. It looks like your problem similar to my previous problem.

don't have any gas left, does it become jerky?

but it sounds like its not getting enough gas/fuel so it wont rev past a certain point

if hes out of gas/petrol it wont start lol

but i have never had a gas car so im not sure what would happen?

Ended up being gas mixer diaphragm disconnect the gas mixer and runs fine on petrol just gotta get the mixer kitted out and its all good.
