Thread: VT Senator signature Boot leak

    Default VT Senator signature Boot leak

    Just noticed a leak into the boot, everything looks ok around the seals, Is this a common prob with this model? any ideas about fixing it,cheers ferg

    Ferg,

    I had the same problem with a VX S. Turned out the gaskets underneath the rear spoiler were shot. Replaced the gaskets and the leak went away. There is also a black gasket between the boot garnish and the metal part of the boot. I replaced it first but didnt fix the leak, might be a problem also.

    cheers Scott, i replaced the spoiler seals and that fixed the bugger!.
