I have pacemaker extractors into a 2.5" Redback system with muffler and rear resenator. Not very loud, wont attract any unwanted attention. Yet still gives a nice idle soud.

    Default Redback cat-back for V6

I bought a 2.5" redback for my VY for $244 including delivery. Took 15mins to fit. The best part is starting the car and at idle (sounds much nicer).

The supplier swore it is right on the legal limit which I would agree with.

The only issue I have is a drone in the car at about 1500-2000 rpm. Not enough to put me off the purchase though.

Don't expect any noticeable gains unless it goes with extractors, free-flow cats, sports filter, chip etc.

    Just sounds better

That is exactly what I bought for $244 including postage. Don't get jipped!! I can pass the contact details if you want (he is just north of Newcastle NSW but would arrange postage anywhere). Just PM me.

i have a redback 2.5 dual, and i have that same drone at 1500-2000 rpm, is there anything to be done to reduce that car vibrating drone?

I think it would be a case of experimenting with different mufflers and resonators to remove the offending noise. It could start to get expensive which defeats the purpose of buying a relatively cheap bolt-on redback system. I kept my original system so if or when I get tired of the noise I will change it back.

    Regards,
    Mark.
