sloppy performance

Ran my mates standard vt ss auto 5.7 against my vx manual with mafless tune and full exhaust, first 2 runs he beat me? Art last run I beat him, car feels like its running a little sluggish. Any ideas?

Na its not the driving itself, I know how to drive it, just feels abit laggy the past week or so, feels like its missing the punch its had. Was just serviced last week, is there any issues that could have gone wrong with the tune? It was tune about 2 months ago. And it was going very hard. Was beating ve r8 very easily. Just weird it feels like its losing power ...

Fouled plugs?

Have you checked it for errors?

I would take it back to the place that tuned it and get them to have a look at it.

My mate has a huge property, he's pretty much got a massive straight road he's put togerther on his property, so it wasn't on the street., might take it back to the place that did the tune to see if somethings gone wrong, hopefully its all good besides from a leaking water pump. Haven't checked the plugs yet, I know they are due for a change though. But shall see how it goes when I get it tested.

usually if i start to get sloppy performance i get someone to stroke it...

try cleaning yout IAT sensor in the intake tube.
I fiund my car was getting a bit sluggish and changed most things, plug, filters, oils etc to no success
The IAT was covered in shit from im guessing my K&N filter oil. Once cleaned it was a lot more responsive/poky.
