Removing and fitting new cd player

I just bought a new cd player for my 2000 VT Wagon Executive Olympic Edition.. I also bought a pocket kit but have no idea how to take my old one out. I can see the four holes around it, but putting a screw driver in there does nothing.. Any ideas??.. I heard about the coathanger thing.. but maybe someone could explain it better

To get mine out I just used 4 nails the same size as the holes and about3 or 4 inch long. pushed them all into the holes and then just pulled the unit out

or cut up a coat hanger and make them into a U shape either way

definantly use a coathanger

and a thick one not a 10c piss weak metal one.. may have to file notches in the ends for it doesnt slide out..
