Hey guys, this may have come up before, but its probably buried somewhere. Im doing and ls1 conversion in my Vt and contrary to most skeptics i have kept it at $5500, therefore it has been well worth it. Um my question is because i am running an automatic loom and now have a 6 speed in the car, the car cannot read where the selector is, hence there is none anymore, and will not start as from what i have been told it thinks it is not in park and wont start. Now my question is, where is this in the interior loom and is there a way of bypassing it or overriding it?? Otherwise (correct me if i am wrong) i can make a push button ignition straight to the starter motor (have already tried with touching wires and it kicks) and then just turn the car on and instead of kicking it over when the key is turned, push the button when the key is in the on position??? Also 1 other thing, does it effect the way the computer reads the throttle or anything else computer at all by running the accelerator cable straight to the throttle body, as i have seen ls1s with trac (i dont have) with that throttle relaxer??
