hey guys i need new rear shocks. would it be good it i replaced the springs aswell? i get a lot of camber wear on the rear tyres on the inner edge. the car is stock and is not lowered, and stock wheels aswell.
Any recommendations?
I want some ones that are quite firm to improve grip at the rear.
the car is a 2001 vx

If you are after firm shocks go FE2 unless you want to lower the car in which case go for heavy duty king springs. If you want to be cheeky, the rear springs from a wagon are firmer than those from a sedan.

I Would replace both, they are cheap and easy to replace![]()
How many socks do you need? "Sorry but could help but laugh at the title)
I agree with edals.. do them together.. give yourself benefit of the doubt and get them both done
Im about to go the fe2 way myself
haha i just reallised about the title. had to change it. dont know how i got to uni? haha
anyway so go fe2 all round to improve the grip and will it make it abit lower? or is there someting even firmer because im not worried about comfort realy.
and whats the price of it or do i have to go to rip off holden to get it ? im in perth
Hey mate, I can do a good price on King springs and Ultima shocks if you want to go new.
I also have a set of FE2's but they are V8 ones, the fronts will be a bit heavier and won't sit as low in the V6.

This maybe be fixed by not putting your right foot down so much lol
\ TUNED LEGS BY MYSELF LOL
nah it is really my crap brand of tires on it at the moment from the previous owner. They are bct brand. i have to drive with no power around corners to stop it from sliding and they still have around 50 percent tread left on them. Any throttle even about less than a quarter and it will slide
