Vt exec to vx ss bodykit conversion

Hey all,
I'm wanting to put a vx ss bodykit onto my vt exec. Do they just fit on nicely? And do you have to replace the fenders aswell? Also im going to be changing the interior seats to vx vx ss ones also. Do they fit and is there any modding needed to be done?

I know the front and rear bars are just straight bolt on, yes you will need to remove the old ones, the seats should bolt on to, im not sure what to with the skirts

sweet, ive got a wrecked vx ss to take parts off so im not struggling for any parts...what other nice mods can be done?

foggies obviously, um mesh behind the front bar. Then the standards, exhuast, wheels, springs

is it hard to hook the foggies up? or would it be easier to get a auto sparky to do em?

also what would i have to do to get the instrument cluster working? is it just plug and play or? do i have to get it reprogramed to my ammount of km's?

I thought VX SS front bars did not align up properly on VT's and take some serious panel beating to get it smooth...... may be wrongly informed?

na it should just bolt on no issue, foggies it depends on if you car has the looms for them or not, and if you buy after market ones, i bought after market ones and got a mate to help wire them for me. Im not sure about the cluster i think it should just be plug and play but not sure man

just had a thought... keep the VT headlights so theres a hole for a *through-the-headlight-cold-air-intake (TTHCAI) hahaha

Hahaha, can't I just use the foggies that were stock on the car? I'm good with panels and shit but not that good at the electrical part of things aha. Does it matter if the cluster was from a v8? Will it show wack readings on my v6?

yeah you can use the Stock foggies, um im not sure how to wiring ask the electrical section, um all i know is when you swap the cluster out your km will read what was on the ss, not what the v6 has done

yeah u'll need 2 get the cluster recalibrated 2 suit, specially with the tacho as that sends a different pulse signal 4 it 2 work being a V8. u'll need 2 also get other features/settings changed 2 match ur own car so u'll need a tech 2 unit.

ur in perth yeah? normally id sugest dr bob on this forum but that means u gotta send ur cluster over 2 him but ive found a local guy that has a contact who does it. give this guy a ring 04447553331 his name is ujean (spelling? lol) last customer i sent over only cost him $150 so i assume that'll b the cost there abouts.
