Default VX Acclaim antenna power cut

    Hi all,
Ive read all the VX/VT questions about antennas and none are helping me.
I have an Pioneer head unit in my VX acclaim (a DEH model), and whatever peanut wired it up before i bought the car did it wrong, as the antenna goes up and down automatically with head unit power.
As i never, ever, ever listen to the radio (only aux and ipod integration), and the antenna looks like an erect pind*ck, i want to lose all power to the antenna.
I have my glovebox 90% taken off already, so it would be good if thats the way you get into it.
Im willing to do a fair bit of work if need be, however not keen on disassembling the whole front of my car.
    Thanks

Take the front passenger side guard lining out (you can do this without taking the wheel off if you have a 1/4" drive hex tool set and a 1/4" socket. Just unplug the connector from the antenna. Maybe tape the ends up to stop water getting in and corroding them.

Side guard lining, im guessing thats an interior panel.
Not too crash-hot on interior panel names, which panel is it mate?
