    Default VT door trims

    hey guys

VT door trims, no the whole door panel, just the inserts, is there anyway possible that they cane be removed out of the door panels and change them? and if anyone knows how they are held on and what it takes to take them out?

if it's anything like the speaker covers, they'll be held in by these annoying round clip things, just pull them off and the insert should just drop out. but i don't know if it's the same...never actually looked at them

real easy to get them off mate.

first take your door trim off, then you will see this ugly carpet looking crap, peel it back (only glue holds it on). once youve done that, at the top of the old trim you will see about 5-6 bolts holding the top part in, you can undo them with a small shifter, then at the bottom you will see 3 black clips, just slide them up and they come off easy, and there in the one screw down the bottom.

replacing the inserts in a vt is so easy mate, once u have the door trim off you will be able to see what you need to do. no parts need to be broken and there are no gay pop screw crap like the speaker grill very straight forward.
