Vt v6 killing tensionor pullys

Hey everyone i have a mate with a vt v6 that has warped 2 pulleys in the last month one was the standard plastic and the other was a metal one one we can understand but dont get why it has blown 2 in a month its the tensioner pulley near the air con any one got any ideas trying to figure out what could be wrong so she doesn't have to replace pulley all the time.

If you are talking about the idler pulley before the AC compressor,then the AC compressor may have something wrong with it.Ive seen this happen before,ended up being the AC compressor was momentarily locking up,this caused the idler pulley before the AC compressor to stuff up withing a couple of weeks,it was replaced 3 times before the problem with the AC compressor was found, then we replaced the AC compressor and no more problem..

also check the tensioner pullies indicator mark and see if its over tension 4 any reason. but does seem like wat brett has suggested

was the one above the ac that it just sits on to i think the new one seized fixed the issue today and now all fine
