Default VT Wagon LS! Rad Fans suck or Blow?

    Hi All,

Replaced the radiator in the VT LS1 on the weekend, and standing at the front of the car this arvo noticed the fans are blowing and can feel hot air on the leg standing next to the grille at the front of the car. Question is should factory fans blow hot air thru the radiator, or suck cool air?

    Cheers

They suck air in, think about it, trying to blow air out while air is trying to come through the front when your driving along wouldnt be much good.

Are you sure the warm air you are getting is not coming from under the front bar? Between the bar and the ground? While the car is standing still the warm air from the fans can be reflected by the motor etc and be pushed out from under the car toward the front. BTW, it's near impossible for the fans to be connected the wrong way as the connections are designed to go together one way only, so reverse polarity should not be the issue.
