Thanks, just under $300, yeah it was pretty easy to install, the air flows into the pod from behind the headlight

wouldnt that defeat the purpose of enclosing it to stop engine heat

I've just kept it on so far, might try it though, it costs $60 for a dyno run at a place I go to in frankston

It shouldn't really effect the coolness of the air in the box without the lid. It's just mainly from the side of the box where it needs to be stopped, you could even get a exhaust manifold shield to stop the heat even more which might be my next mod, might do all the pipes in stainless steel to make the air flow even better without the corrugations in the rubber piping in the rubber pipe

Yea are there any pre-made options out there for the inake piping maybe even in silicon hoses? Or is it really a custom job?

Off the shelf stainless steel pipes do exist (ebay?), however they to need to be insulated as they'll heat up like crazy during stop start traffic

They look simmilar but as usual V6supercharged sells them for double the price. I suppose its better than their $50 81deg thermostats that Autobarn sell for $15 tho
