How tight do you do the nut up on the bushes for the sway bar links?
I am using Nolathane bushes and have done them up till the bushes are snug but NOT as tight as they would go spreading/bulging the bushes. That OK?
I have also jacked up the control arm, not only to get out the links but also so it would simulate weight on the links when i did up the nuts. Than OK?
Also the diagram said to put the oval bushes at the top and the cylinder looking ones on the swaybar, just looks like it should be the other way around.
Cheers, Daz.
are you using just the bushes with your original link pin or a compleate heavy duty kit with new pins and washers?
if you are using just the bushes with your original pin tighten the nut enough so you can just turn the washers on the bush.
if you are using a new nolathane kit the thread is made so you tighten it up untill the nut bottom out to give you the correct crush.
no need to jack the control arms up and yes the bushes are the correct way around, the top bush is oval so it piviots better when the wheel turns and doesnt split the bushes.
