strange problem with my central locking on vx ss

hey guys i have a strange problem and was hoping someone could help my central locking started working intermittently this includes the button for the boot in the glovebox aswell so i got myself a new set of keys and thought that might fix the problem and i thought it did but the new keys only work while your in the drivers seat it will lock/unlock the doors and pop the boot but still works intermittently and will not work from outside the car at all.
any suggestions?

do you have a dash cover?

cheers ill give them a look hopefully that fixes it, no i dont would that affect it
