Any photos on replacing heater globes

has anyone got photos on how to take apart the heater switches to replace the globes in a vx,thanks

Theres plenty of info and how to's 2 take appart ur dash 2 get 2 ur heater control unit so have a search.

then 4 the unit itself its pretty straight forward. All u gotta do is pop off the dial buttons with some sort of flat non sharp blade or screw driver (i find a butter knife the best) Once there off take off the 3 screw mounting the unit in place and only disconnect the wiring harness (small black loom) as u dont need 2 remove completly yet 2 determain which of the 3 units u have. unclip the top and bottom clips from the units surround and u will b left with the dial surround, white inner housing and a PCB board, If u have a large PCB the same size as the unit (2 types), then u just need 2 get some torx screw drivers and take out the 3 screws holding int place and u'll see the globes and can pretty much work it out form there.

If u manage 2 have the 3rd type that has no inner PCB u'll need 2 remove the entire unit as this unit uses the back housing 2 run its own PCB tracks 2 the globes so u'll need 2 replace them from behind the unit. U may need 2 remove the vacume lines, the heater control rod (count back the number of threads so u remember where it goes back) and 1 more larger loom thats 4 the fan speed controls. once they r free as b4 its pretty self explanitory. 2 replace the A/C and demister buttons there is actually a smaller 50x50 PCB behind the A/C and demister buttons where the globes sit.
