was told not to bother putting a full sports exhaust system on it was told just to change the rear box but im not sure what would sound best a hotdog or sports rear box
Car is 100% standed

I know, but what do you say to someone who asks if its a good idea to cut a perfectly good muffler off?
Its not as if its hiding a secret lamborghini V12 note or something...
I would ask them what they want out of the exhaust. Personally I've never heard a vectra with anything done to the exhaust.
I just know that with my brothers car (1.8 lancer, yes I know, not the same but it's a 4 pot none the less) he had a 'sports' muffler
thrown on the back and it sounded terrible, then I recommended a straight bit of pipe instead and it sounds much better now.

Anything with less than 8 cylinders should be quiet. With the exception of the odd V6 with a VERY slight exhaust note that sounds OK
VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)VT SS Sedan - Supercharged V6 Auto (Genuine L67 SS)VN SS Sedan - 5.0L 5 Speed Manual (Currently Balga spec waiting for panel and paint)
well its only for the misses car doesnt matter all to much as long as she likes it i guess lol
so to sum it up Dog or Box?
