v6 vx running like crap
i have a 2000 vx berlina v6 and its been running poorly since it had a fat backfire.
Background: i had run the car completely out of fuel by accident and after putting in 20l of fuel it refused to start, i sprayed a bit of start ya bastard down the airbox, it then started and idled fine. however since then it has been seriously down on power, it doesnt seem to matter how much throttle you give it it accelerates at the same (really slow) speed. although occasionally it will backfire and run fine for a little bit.
please help me just commodores.
P.S. does anyone know how to dissasemble a power mirror, mine was hit by a cyclist and although the glass is fine it keeps falling off and being held up by the power cord.
clogged fuel filter first thing that popped into my head. or injectors?

to change your power mirror you have to take the inside door trim off, should see all the bolts and screws in there fine
