    Default Cluster Needle's

    Hey
I wondering if anyone knew where to buy replacement needle's for a VT cluster, mainly because I don't like the orange and would like them to be red for when I change the cluster background. Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers

you can only get them from other clusters, in orange.

so you have to do it yourself, take needles off, remove the orange, and paint them. white will be your best bet

i can do it 4 ya if ya like but not sure where u r exactly? so id assume Greg (ASR) would b ur next best option and get them done as an exchange part. otherwise if u do go ahead and buy some needles 4 urself from a wrecked cluster just make sure u get needles from a VT Or 2 make sure uve got the right needles, if ur own cluster has a white back housing make sure the wrecked 1 does also, if its black and urs is white or visa versa they wont fit on even tho they look the same.

^^^^ yep i found that out. I pulled my vx cluster out ( black back with white needles ) and installed a brand new vt calais cluster ( white back with orange needles ) and tried to swap the needles over but wouldnt fit because the pins that hold the needles on are diffrent to each other.

Yeah these definatly rnt worth $70 specially if u go an exchange over part from ASR.

all i can advise is b carful wat paint u use as u dont want it 2 b too heavy after it dries so it makes the needles work harder than normal which in the long run will damage the needles mech.

yeah i do the kid its all appart of the dash conversion that Greg and myself provides. so unfortunatly our methods of wat we use exactly and how we do it cant really b told as such 4 that reason.

tho i can say we dont use nail polish as some can harm the plastic.
