urgent help re wiring near air filtter

Hi all need help teaching son how to work on his vx 5.7 ser111 changing air filtwers and a connector on the wiring loom that goes to the air intake on top of radiator has come free not the air intake but the next down and for the life of me cannot find where it goes from position of wir somewhere behind power steering pump help!!!

If you can post a pic of what you mean we might be able to help, because I haven't got any idea what you mean from your description.

There is only a certain amount of places it could go. Work out the furthest place, and then work back from there. Check the AC Compressor Coolant temp sensor etc.

there is a connector on air intake and one on ac next to radiator the next inline is loose
