Rear Axle Issue

Hi,

I wanted to renew the oil since it looks like green sludge so referred to my manual which stated to remove the drain plug which has been unsuccessful because i can turn it left or right & either way just tightens back up?? I can only turn each direction about 1 full rev before it tightens up.

So i proceeded to exact the sludge via a syringe and tube which was working ok until the plastic tube dropped inside and a part of me died.

What are my options??

Can i start the car and put it on ramps??

I own a 01 VX Commodore V6.

Tighten it a turn n then loosen it another it should free up N probably has metallics in the thread, I wouldnt start the cAr.jack it up on then spot, worst comes to worse, take the whole back plate off

I finally got the drain plug off and oil has been drained but no sign of plastic tube

I was using a spanner initially & ended up buying a socket from Bunnings.....
