Unhappy Headlights Dim on one side?

    New here, so Hiya all!

I recently bought some aftermarket headlights, here is a link to them:
Holden VT Commodore Angel Eye Black Altezza Headlights | eBay

Didn't have a problem with the original lights, and these new one's are a simple swap only having to deal with one plug... but the Drivers side headlight fades on and is very dim, while the other one is working just fine.

Got my uncle to have a quick look and it seems the grounding wires actually do nothing at all? And the headlights still turn on with or without the relay plugs that came with these lights, Both fuses are fine as well... something strange going on...

I don't actually no much about cars n such especially the electrical side, but it could be something simple and asking here could save me a $100+ trip to the auto elect lol

Any info would be great, Thanks

4 banger turbos with bov's will just cry when they hear it, because they can never have it.
