hey everyone new to cars and wanting to buy some new parts for my vt have a 2.5 redback exhaust on its way and a friend was saying getting a v8 air intake and i have a v6 would that fit. he showed me this Holden VT - VX V6 SS Induction Kit
would that be something to look into and also connect a pod filter aswell ,

it replaces your current airbox, and uses a pod filter instead. im not 100% sure but you might be able to use the big mouth kit that you posted up before with this, not positive though. you actual performance gains of this kit VS the 2 hole mod are questionable though

Maybe the guy really did get 18kw, take a 200,000km old air filter put it in, run on dyno, get new SS Induction system, fit up and run on dyno and eureka, an 18rwkw increase.
It just said an increase of 18kw, it didn't say what it was the first time.
