Hi everyone,
I got Holden Commodore VT V6 Sedan, this Easter I went to Beech Forest and as stopped at one point for taking pic, My car didn't started, it was making cranky noise and some time air filter was banging, one gentle man tried to help me out and he said might be my fuel pump is gone.
Can any one help me how to replace fuel pump without taking out the fuel tank.
regards
Nadeem
Cannot be done but go here:
Replacing Fuel Pump in VX Station Wagon
Fairly comprehensive fuel tank removal directions without photos. Could be a good idea to change your fuel filter while you are in there.
The job is much the same whether wagon or sedan.
Cant be done. Shouldnt take more than an hour to have the tank in and out anyway. They're easy as to do on the VT.

Get someone to turn the ignition on while you put your head near the fuel tank and see if you can hear a buzzing for a few second, if so the pump is working, if not, the pump could be gone. In quiet conditions you should be able to hear the buzzing when turning the key yourself. The pump will only buzz for a few seconds each time you turn the ignition on.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Give your fuel tank a smack with a rubber mallet and see if it will start . This trick worked with mine for a while but it started to get noisy the crapped itself. The hardest part i found was draining the tank and disconecting the fuel lines with the special tool.
