Default Ve SSV wheel help fitting to vt

    Hey,
I have just got a set of ve ssv 19's and they are machined and bolt on properly, but i cannot find any confirmed info on what size tyres, i would like to keep the 245's, but i read somewhere that you need 235's.
    So my choices are
    245/40/19
    235/40/19
    245/35/19
    235/35/19
I know the original 245/45/19's are not fitting as i did a tril fit and they dont even spin as they are hitting the struts on the front, i didnt even try the rears.

I want to keep the fat tyres so the wheels dont stick out past the tyres.
But i also want to keep i big side wall for a nicer ride.
What are people using, without scrubbing or having issues?
    Thanks all!

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

I punched in stock VT size tyres and then the tyres you have there, I used the 235/35/19 tyres to compare.

When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 59.6mph (96km/h): 0.7% slower.

If you know the offset it will make things a lot easier, or you could ask The Wheel Deal on here. He should be able to give you a straight answer without even looking it up.

    hey mate,

go with 245/35/r19's, ive had these on my current 19s for some time with only a 1.2% difference, they will fit your vt to.

How much did you pay for the machining, im picking up the same wheels off a bloke but i dont think they're machined

^^^^ i agree, go the 235/35/R19, having the 0.7% slower is better than having the 1.2% faster (Speed cameras) and there is less chance of scrubbing.
