can anyone help i was sitting in a drive through at maccas when my temp needle started to climb up, it normally doesnt go above halfway but now when its at idle it climbs up to 3/4 and the fans kick in. checked all my levels and they are fine.
Could be...
Thermostat.
Radiator Cap (bleeding presure into the overflow).
A blockage somewhere in the radiator.
I would flush the radiator / block, and change the thermostat and radiator cap and see if that fixes your problem before looking at much else. You can spend hundred chasing cooling problems (like I did), when in actual fact it's usually the $5 parts that fail and are the cause of the problem (mine turned out to be the water pump).
Good Luck!
