    Thumbs up MY VX SexPac

    Hi guys,

this be my first car, 2001 VX S Pac.

It was completely stock when i first bought it, with only small things to replace in time from wear and tare. It's done 154000 K's.

The engine is completely stock, and I plan to keep it that way for a while.
The exterior is the same, completely stock. I'm thinking of taking the 'S' badges off as the coppers around my area get funny about it and mistake it for an SS . Looking stock hopefully will keep the coppers away from me

I've installed a HID kit for my headlights. After having the boring yellow lights, I will never go back to them after HID's. If you haven't got them, get them. They are amazing.

The interior on the other hand is beginning to be completely transformed.
At the moment, Phreddy/Greg has done his magic on the lighting .

I've got a fairly decent stereo running in it. Alpine headunit with 6.5" Alpine type S speakers in the front, JVC 6.5" speakers in the rear doors, Kicker 6" x 9" in the parcel shelf and a 12" Pioneer sub in the boot .

Future mods will be painting the dash bright orange (not fluro) to match in with the rest of the orange on the car and possibly just powder coating my rims black instead of buying new rims ($$$$$).

    What do you guys think?

P.S - Sorry for the shitty pictures, camera doesn't like the dark :3

thanks mate. haha yeah i would rather the quicksilver by a long shot. only downside to this colour is its hard to match other colours with it (such as lighting and such) but at night, you dont really see anything other than lights, so i just go with what looks the best at the time

does anybody know how well the vinyl dye works? if so, if i bought black and used them on my seats and trim, would the fabric turn completely black, or would it still have different shades as the fabric has orange through it :3

love the car mate, that is my fav. colour!!!! look so fresh, you dont see many vx's in that colour only vt's, not a bad find!

you can get spray cans made to match in any colour you like, get your paint code from under your bonnet and get it matched would look sick, or maybe go for a piano black facia.

yer debadge it all, get rid of the ecotec v6 badges while your at it too.
get a nice exhaust and some ss headlights and some sl's and it will be amazing!

thanks guys. when i was pulled up one day, the copper is like "is this a v8 ss? you cant be driving this on your p's. can you pop the bonnet so i can have a look" even though it clearly says S on the rear and V6 on the side of the car. some coppers in my area are pretty cool. and others are absolute f heads.

but anyways, exhaust will most likely be my next mod

Dash is all painted as well as the surroundings for the air con vents. Its a lighter colour than the car itself, but it looks extremely good. I didnt expect it to come up this well, so im very happy with it.

took me 2 mins to get them out. just get a flat headed screw driver or something then and pop them out, then just pull the back of it off. then pop the center piece out.

theres a thread on the site - Front Air vents Paint How to detailed

Judging by the exhaust tip it's either a supercharge 6 or an 8??? Nice looking car you have there.
VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)
VT SS Sedan - Supercharged V6 Auto (Genuine L67 SS)
VN SS Sedan - 5.0L 5 Speed Manual (Currently Balga spec waiting for panel and paint)

Haha fair call, but some of us aren't lucky enough to live in states where we can have 8's

Those tips came on the Calais 6 and spac 6 also, I'm fairly sure you could put them on any for some $$$ at the factory
