hi guys have been reading through here and the coil and ignition module seem to be the main faults.... but i had this problem about 6 months ago and it was the ignition module but it has done it again.. i have replaced the coil and tried a new module but still have no spark?? fuses are all ok.. any help would be very much appreciated oh its a vt 5L
thanks Hansen
swap your "starter" relay with the "engine cont" relay in the engine bay fuse box, the "engine cont" relay powers your crank sensor and the relay contacts usually burn out and cause an intermittant problem

yay its running nice again.. turned out knocked a lead off the dizzy cap..am still worried it might come back with the same problem again.. am wondering if it has something to do with the immobilizer playing up..just a thought. thanks again for your help Boonz
hey guys just wanted to update this.... car ran fine for 2 weeks then started playing up again. so i changed the key reader but still had problems. it ended up being the plug on my coil was a loose fit. fits nice and snug now and car running sweet. just wanted to update this as i never thought a loose plug would cause so many problems.
