Hi guys,

i have seen a few headlight switches on ebay with the auto function that came with (berlina's/calais) and have searched around but havn't found a definative answer.

I know that vx exec models have a low level BCM and cant use auto lights and auto drivers window down plus more...

berlina's and calais use a mid to high level BCM which can by using the sensor in the middle of the dash alowing auto lights on and to be able to leave lights on when the drivers door is open and turn off when locked.


I have a vx series 1 lumina which has some of the functions of the berlina high level BCM such as the auto drivers window down.....so my question is:

if i buy a new auto headlights switch will i be able to use this function or do i need a new BCM


Next time im down at holden i will ask, which will be a while since they love ripping me off
