engine light on and off randomly after a repair

hey guys, i just had my fuel pump replaced after my car stalled and wouldn't start i tried to jump start it and it started then died while it's still attached to the other car... When it was fixed i can start it with no problems...Now the engine light will come on and off at random times.... But it doesn't stay on. When i got it back i had to put the code in for my cd player to.... Any ideas what the go is????

You will need to take it into a workshop so they can plug the computer in and see what code is bringing the light on, it could have a loose wire somewhere or a sensor playing up intermittently.

or try a self diagnosis 1st and see wat codes come up.

take ur neutral off the battery for 10 mins then put it back on and go for a drive. it should reset the cpu.
if not. tech 2 at holden. more then likely o2 senor is shagged

my vu ss does that too, it only comes on when im idling alot in traffic and the engine heats up a little. i dont think its a massive worry if it comes on and off coz ive never had a problem.
but should get it checked out incase something is wrong
