    Default Snapped idler pulley bolt

Hi guys, im pretty new around here.
    I have a 99 VT

I was doing my water pump yesterday and came to the bolt behind the lower idler pulley.. i started to undo and snap.. the pulley was still stuck on there (its off now, was seized on there) but now i need a new thing that pulley was connected to it.. What is it called ? ive read you can take it off from 3 bolts ? and how much would this part cost?

You can buy the part, it's about $50 from memory. Just ask for the A/C Idler pulley hub.

Or $10 from your local wrecker for a road tested part if you are broke like me. Are you sure you have enough Silastic in there?

Yours looks slightly different to my 1997-8 VT but if the bolts are the same, one on top, one on the passenger side and one at the bottom which also holds the harness retainer for the A/C. I just took one of these off my spare motor and two of them were nuts on studs.
