Can a faulty knock sensor cause a miss? Say it were rusty and constantly threw the ecu out of whack?

    Thanks,

yeah it could.. the knock sensor senses engine knock and adjusts the timing accordingly.. so if its faulty it would indeed throw the ecu out of whack
