loud hissing noise then auto won't kick back

hi all have a very loud hissing noise in my vt, checked all the vacuum line's ,the noise sound's like it is under the dash near the pedals !! but when i put my foot down it is so loud and the auto will not kick back out of top, have to pull the shift form d to 3 all is good, but if i dont pull it back the car sound's like it is missing and shuddering ..got me stuffed please help,and i put a new switch panel in to thinking the noise was comming from there no luck!!!!

mate can you make a video of this? OR change your leads spark plugs and possibly your coil pack

with this hissing noise have you got subs/amps installed in your car?

i think you'll find it's the small purge hose near the firewall its on a T fitting and can be hard find and to get to

mine started popping off after getting LPG fitted , but i did manage to get a hose clamp on it and it never happened again

does the check engine light come on at idle? can't help with the auto problem it may be 2 separate problems

the auto could be the coil packs, changing them thursday, only saw the engine light when the starter motor s%it itself,but has not be on and the car idles great, the hissing is so loud when i am on the gas pedal.that,s why i thought it was the auto not shifting !!

all sorted thanks to oska !!!! pipe was off near the fire wall ,changed the coil packs auto seams to be fine fingers crossed
